MISSION

Education: as a means of broadening the scope of the Caribbean culture and its people in the Diaspora.
Caribbeana values education as a way of accepting the importance of learning and knowledge, encouraging
curiosity and the questioning mind, recognising the partnership between school, home and community in
education, and seeing education as a life-long process.

Entertainment: as a means of exploring the Caribbean culture through a multitude of art forms, which may
include performing, visual, literary, or theatrics.

Enlightenment: as a means of opening the mind to new possibilities of a diverse culture. Also providing
awareness of historical and present day affairs of the Caribbean diaspora.

Beyond Words Into A Movement

Caribbeana Communications International, LLC (CCI) has a mission to educate, entertain,and enlighten all that is
Caribbean through journalismc, media products (i.e. radio, television, and internet), project planning and
development, programming, and civic engagement.
The mission of CCI also includes, but is not limited to:

Promote and encourage public interest in the culture, arts, music, news and other events of the
Caribbean and its people; presentation and broadcast of documentaries, news stories and other
programs of civic, cultural and educational nature by means of radio, television, cable television and
other communications media

Produce, distribute and syndicate dramatic and non dramatic theatrical, cinematic, video, tape, film,
audio, motion picture shows and programs pertaining to the history, culture and current events of the
Caribbean and other Third World countries;
